Study With Us
One of our greatest strengths is our students. The Department has a student population of about 150 undergraduate and over 200 graduate students. The student group is diverse, with individuals joining us from around the world in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. We have excellent teaching and research facilities.
The Department of Geology and Geological Engineering offers a B.S. degree in geological engineering and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in economic geology, geology, geological engineering, hydrology, and petroleum systems. Our students are hired by the agencies such as the U.S. Geological Survey, and industries such as petroleum, mining, renewable energy, engineering consulting, and groundwater and environmental firms.
