The Potential Gas Committee is a non-profit, independently governed, 100% volunteer staffed entity. It is assisted in its work by the Potential Gas Agency at the Colorado School of Mines which provides objective scientific and technical guidance, formal comparisons with others' estimates, training of new Committee members, representation of the Committee at industry association and professional meetings, lectures and presentations on the work and estimates of the Committee, and administrative support for report production and Committee meetings.
Committee members contribute their expertise and time pro-bono, typically after work and on weekends, and pay their own meeting participation expenses. While proceeds from sale of the Committee's reports cover the editing, layout, printing/pressing, advertisement, and shipping costs, additional resources are needed each year to fund the supporting work of the Potential Gas Agency. They are obtained in the form of contributions made via the Potential Gas Agency by a diverse array of companies, organizations, and individuals that, for whatever reason, are interested in the Nation's future supply of natural gas. Each and every member of the Potential Gas Committee and the Potential Gas Agency gratefully acknowledges the following for their support of our work: |

Sponsors are periodically informed of the Committee's progress, are encouraged to attend the Committee's highly informative primary meetings (normally held in April and September), receive in proportion to contribution size one or more copies of the resulting biennial PGC report, and are accorded public recognition in the biennial report and on this web page absent instruction to the contrary.
Companies, organizations, or individuals that might be interested in becoming a sponsor of the Potential Gas Committee and Potential Gas Agency, at whatever contribution level they are comfortable with, are invited to contact Dr. John B.
